Privacy Policy

Retirement Payday is a calculator, not a service. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no forms. The short version: the financial details you type are never sent anywhere.

What you enter into the calculator

Your age, savings, salary, contribution rate, expenses, and every other figure are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are not transmitted to this site, not written to a database, and not saved to your device — not in cookies, not in local storage. Close the tab and they are gone. Nobody, including the operator of this site, can see what you entered.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of any kind, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

Analytics

Page views are counted using Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not attempt to identify or track individual visitors between sites. It reports aggregate figures such as how many people viewed a page and which site referred them.

Being straightforward about the limits of that: because the analytics script is fetched from Ahrefs' servers, Ahrefs necessarily receives your IP address and browser user-agent as part of that request, as any third-party resource would. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policy.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like effectively all web hosts, Vercel processes and may retain standard request logs — including IP addresses — for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. That data is held by Vercel under its own policy, and is not used here to build any profile of you.

What is never done

• Your calculator inputs are never collected, stored, or transmitted
• No personal information is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers
• No advertising or affiliate tracking scripts run on this site
• No email addresses are collected, because nothing here asks for one

Links to other sites

Pages here link to outside resources such as the IRS, the Social Security Administration, and the CFP Board directory. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Your rights

Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other places with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to access, correct, delete, and port personal data held about them, and to object to its processing.

In practice there is very little to exercise those rights against here: this site holds no personal data about you, because it collects none. Requests concerning data held by Vercel or Ahrefs are best directed to those companies, who are the ones actually holding it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If what this site does with data ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
